Wife and I took a short trip to Disneyland last week. Dropped the kids off and flew out on Thursday. Stayed close by and walked into the park around 7:30pm. Post-fireworks, got to ride Rise of the Resistance (first time) and it was brilliant. Closed down the park.

Repping Sora in the only place where he’s probably half recognized.

Went to the park all day Friday. Sat at Harbour Galley and added some new ideas for the next book. Rode the Haunted Mansion Holiday by waiting until the absolute last minute for our queue number to drop so we walked right on. Got two new notebooks, and if space wasn’t a factor (since we were flying) I would have gotten three.

On the left is a Star Wars X-Wing themed notebook, while the right is a Haunted Mansion notebook with ballpoint pen included.

We saw fireworks this time. We saw the revised Fantasmic, minus the Maleficent dragon animatronic which tragically burnt down over a year ago.

We flew back Saturday, picked up the kids, drove home, then got right back into the swing of our lives.

Not for always. Just for now.
