It rained out here in Phoenix. Not often this happens, so you have to (figuratively) soak it up. The boys are going outside with April to jump in the muddy puddles. They’ve been asking for it all morning.
Me? I’ve got the day off. So let’s write a whole bunch of stuff.
PROJECT UPDATE:
BIANCA – Still in its 3rd draft, though progress is being made. I’m just past the 100 page mark, with about 80 pages left to go (on Microsoft Word, that is). A lot of the fixing is going to happen in the 4th Draft, I can already see. Chapters need to be added in and the climax needs to be totally rewritten. So that’ll be fun when I get there. Small steps, after all.
#AMQUERYING – The new year is in full swing, so a lot of literary agencies have opened back up to queries. I still have GREY and NESS ready to go, so I’m going to look and see if there’s any agents open to what I’m pitching.
CLOUD – This was a project I began back in October/November in the hopes I could get it out for National Novel Writing Month, but November kicked me in the tucchus and screamed, “Yeah, no.” So we’re going to try it again and give it the attention it deserves. That begins with some much needed research. I’m starting with some well edited YouTube videos on the subject, a blank notebook, my Beats headphones I don’t get to wear nearly enough, and a mindset that’s pretending this is all school work.

CURRENTLY READING:
Marvel Comics: The Untold Story by Sean Howe
Reading this has been fun because it’s been a 60/40 split every page of, “Oh, I knew that already. OH, I DIDN’T KNOW THAT.” Great fun. Big, but digestible.
Thanks for reading,
