Part of the joy of marrying my now-wife was when we first started dating she told me she didn’t care about Valentine’s Day. That we could make each other happy the other 364-ish days of the year so what did one “special” day matter?

Well, it also turns out people can change their mind.

We’re going out tonight to her favorite restaurant.

PROJECT UPDATE:

#AMQUERYING – Some bright news after a rough weekend. I received another full manuscript request for Project NESS. After all this, I guess you can call it the last gift she left for me.

BIANCA – The 3rd draft is done, for sure. Now I’m moving into the 4th draft. This means ironing out the last few wrinkles before I pass it off to beta readers. A 4th draft read through usually means reading it like a new reader, going “Ugh, that’s awful, I would have done it THIS way,” and then changing it to make it that way.

CURRENTLY LISTENING:

I didn’t think Anna Kendrick and Justin Timberlake would ever make it to my Spotify Year End Wrapped list, but, this is the reality of having three small children.
