Ever since I brought these little lava monsters home-

-it’s proven unsurprisingly difficult to sit and write. Yesterday, while warming bottles and making dinner and doing the dishes to help my recovering super wife, I had a notion for a book.

Nothing too concrete, but it was fun to play around with for the 10 free minutes I had. I see a lot of professional author state to stick with an idea and follow through and don’t get distracted by the shiny new thing that pops up, and I know I should be fixing up chapter 1 of Project: HARP so I can get back to sending it out to agents for queries, but this was so much fun to get into.

It was light. Fluffy. Fun.

Maybe it’ll turn into something serious when I have a chance to sit at a computer for longer than 10 minutes.

In the meantime, all of these blogs will be done with one hand while holding a baby in the other.
