Lily the cat doesn’t know what everyone else is complaining about. She loves hiding/stalking in her new tree house

Boys are still fighting off COVID, in House Trinacostadad. Appetites are a little off, sleep patterns are way off, they’re grumbly and miserly, while also needing constant cuddles and attention. This, however, has not stopped the runny noses mixed with the bleeding noses.

All in all, it could be worse, I imagine. We’ve made blanket play areas every day this week and we’ve watched, roughly, 87 hours of Bluey. anything to keep them in place because otherwise they’d want to run around, which wears them out, which makes them grumpier, which makes me grumpy, which makes the house grumpy.

I think wife and I tested too soon. We’ve been feeling worse and worse ever since.

I had plans for the new year, you know? Plans I was doing a pretty good job of sticking to, until…*checks calendar*…four days into the New Year. Weeknotes should still go out this weekend, bearing in mind it’ll be a lot lighter than last week’s entry. I also wanted to start my Disney Imagineering book series, where I discuss what I’m learning from Louis J. Prosperi’s The Imagineering Pyramid.

But that’s been put on pause because the extra time that I would have spent writing it is now spent laying on the floor, looking up at the ceiling, and begging for the world to remain slightly still.

I’m a stay-at-home dad, though. We’re always on the clock.

Prayers and good vibes for my wife, pregnant, working, and forced to deal with me.
