STATUS – 3.10.2025 –

Hello and good morning.

Finally got this blog post up, after thinking about it for a longer than I should have.

I’m ready to go today. I’m ready to be a writer again. I think that’s enough.

After all, can’t pay for a Disneyland trip with my writer’s earnings unless I write something worth earning money from.

PROJECT UPDATE:

#AMQUERYING – BIANCA and NESS are going out. BIANCA already has one rejection, which means the bandage is ripped off and we’re right back at it. NESS has come close a couple times already, with four full requests already. It’s there. Just need to find the right agent.

CITY – The story I’ve been working on since October 2024 is about to enter into its First Draft this week, most likely tomorrow. Just need to type up the scrambled notes from the Field Notes and Haunted Mansion notebook into OneNote and get them all organized.

CURRENTLY LISTENING:

Every so often I’ll find this livestream and throw it up on the second monitor when I need sound but can’t decide. Nothing like writing in the future to help you feel.

Steal like an Artist by Austin Kleon (B&N) might very well be my new creative bible. As I’ve said, this is a book you read through once, then keep it by your bedside table to glance at multiple times over the next ten to fifty years. (With that in mind, I should make a little creative bible shelf next to my bed to help with this practice.)
