Hello and good evening.

We’re still working on Project NESS’s copy edits. I panic a little when starting, feeling like I Ccn’t identify all the necessary changes and fixes expected of me. Then I remember that I have a literary agent now who can help me get to where I need to go, so I just need to make it as good as I can.

Not perfect. Just as good as can be.

And this mentality can help me come up with more story ideas. And no, this will not take away anything from the words in front of me. I’ve grown a strange fear, a panic that lives in my heart: that I’m taking on too much and cannot process all that’s in front of me. Too many new books to read, too many new Magic decks to work on, and too many stories . But, is that true? Don’t I create new momentum in my daily life from exercising, pushing forward other endeavors.

Sitting and writing ideas for a potential new story doesn’t have to detract the stories I’m working on or about to work on (like Project CITY), since notebooks are just living brainspaces. It can help other stories.

Writing.

Practicing.

Expanding written brainspace.

So I’m starting a new story notebook, something I’ve wanted to do for a long time that I never felt brave enough to try.

And isn’t that exciting?

Basically, I’m starting notes for a potential new book. Code name is Project SUMMER.

Will it be anything? Odds are no, but isn’t that the fun space I live in now? I get to come up with stuff and have someone to talk it over and shape it into something that might somehow, some way, someday be a book? And along the way it never has to be perfect, it only has to be as good as can be.

Fun, fun, fun.

Thanks for reading,
