Still trying.

I’ve had Project: GREY at the front of mind lately, rewriting the first chapter again for a third time, pinpointing the weak points of the previous version and stealing the bits that worked. You know, the unromanticized parts of writing. Where you have to look at your words like a patient on a table and think, “How can I copy and paste and retype and spell-check andthesaurusdictionarycopypastedelete so it sounds natural?

Not fun, but I think at some point I have to let it go and query again. It’s already been 2 weeks since my last query, and that’s far too long. At some point it’ll be the best it possibly can. But, paid work comes first and taking care of Baby A and B and the house comes before that.

We keep trying, though. Preferably with loud blasting metal music playing. *hits Play on the Disney playlist he built on Spotify
